I'm utilizing the Contacts component purely to save data which I'm then displaying using Alter Reports (the output from the component is just not nice visually, nor the way I want it). I also added 2 extra fields called "Location" and "Preferred Contact" to the fieldgroup "Extra".
I do not see columns in MySQL for "Mobile" (a standard Contact field), nor columns for my 2 added fields as noted above. Also, using the field/tab Miscellaneous (which I'm calling "About me" on my frontend output) it's adding HTML tags which then display on the frontend - like paragraph tags - presumably because this is a rich text editor.
So, what am I not doing that causing the component to not add the columns? And, is there a way to stop "Misc" outputting HTML (other than making a new text field for this purpose), but, rather, correctly format this field's content?
